PURPOSE:To eliminate a short-circuiting accident as well as to improve battery characteristics, by making an opening part into a bent form corresponding to the height of an air plate to be charged into a positive electrode can in advance, and disposing a positive pole whose form consists of exposing at the side section, while unifying the positive electrode can and a side section of the air plate closely in contact with each other after having the air plate compressed and lengthened. CONSTITUTION:A side wall 4 extending as far as an upper end part 3 from a position corresponding almost nearly to the height of an air plate to be charged into the inside of a positive electrode can 1 is formed as curved outward slowly. Inside the positive electrode can 1, the air plate 6 being produced by solidly molding a repellent film 5 composed of polytetrafluoroethylene and mixed powder composed of platinum and graphite via nickel steel is disposed and compressed, then this air plate is lengthened whereby an inner wall of the positive electrode can side and a side section of the air plate 6 are brought in contact with each other and unified in one in this way. A negative electrode seal plate 9 containing a negative electrode agent 10 is fitly set in an opening part of the positive electrode can 1 via a dielectric packing 11, the side wall 4 is drawn by tightening inward from the downside and a battery is sealed up by bending the upper end part 3 inward. |
