PURPOSE:To accelerate or decelerate a step motor in a short time and to control the drive of the motor at a constant speed by obtaining a drive signal to linearly vary to match the performance of the motor in the rotating speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION:The rotating speed of a step motor 10 is detected by a velocity sensor 11, a step motor drive controller 12 receives a speed detection signal from the sensor 11 and a rotation drive step number data applied from an external unit, and outputs an excitation switching signal of accleration/constant speed/deceleration zones of pulse periods to linearly vary the rotating speed of the motor 10. A distributor 13 receives an excitation switching signal obtained from the controller 12 and outputs a phase excitation signal for driving the step motor. |
