摘要 The invention relates to a plastics bag having a special non-return valve, which allows liquid and/or gases to be filled and emptied through a probe such that the non- return valve ensures a liquid-tight and gas-tight closure. The principle is utilized in a urinary stoma bag used by persons who, because of illness or accident, have received during surgery a urinary stoma - an opening in the abdominal wall, through which the urine is conducted - and who therefore have to constantly wear a bag for collection of the urine. The previous urinary stoma bags are all provided with one or other form of bottom valve through which the urine is emptied at appropriate intervals. These bottom valves are thoroughly impractical and a nuisance to the wearer, since they must be secure and easy to operate. The urinary stoma bag according to the invention is free of any bottom valve and is emptied instead with a probe which is introduced through a welded non-return valve, designed for this purpose, in the side of the bag. Emptying is effected by the wearer pressing gently by hand upon the lower part of the bag, whereupon the urine is forced out through the probe and further down into the toilet according to the "communicating vessels" principle. The invention is further used in a so-called balloon bag, intended for introduction and residence in the stomach of humans and certain animals as a weight-controlling medium (slimming means). The non-return valve of the bag allows the bag to be inflated with ordinary air following its introduction with a probe, such that the probe can subsequently be removed, the non-return valve preventing the air from escaping even under normal physical and chemical actions of the stomach. <IMAGE>
