PURPOSE:To avoid a carrier terminal station device from being connected to a high voltage power line electrically and to eliminate the need for additional equipment, by converting signals which are given to the power line or taken out from it into optical signals. CONSTITUTION:The supply of power to each circiut in a carrier repeater 3 is made by leading a light from a light source 44 installed in a substation for the carrier terminal station device 4 to a solar battery 38 through an optical fiber 53 and transmitting an electromotive force of the battery 38 via a power supply circuit 39. Since the high voltage power line and the carrier terminal station device 4 have only to be connected with optical fiber and no electrical connection is made, any coupling capacitor is not required. |
