A lorry (10) with preferably two rear axles (14.1, 14.2) has coupling points (20.1, 20.2), at the rear ends (13.3, 13.4) for the rigid, that is to say flexurally, rigid, non-rotatable and non-swivellable decoupling of a trailer chassis (23) which is constructed as an extension frame part and preferably has one axle (36) with, if appropriate, steerable wheels (39.1, 39.2). The coupling elements of the coupling points (20.1, 20.2) are located beneath the upper edge plane (E) of the motor vehicle chassis so that the longitudinal member (18.3) of the interchangeable body can be designed to be continuous. An extension shaft (49) serves to permit the trailer to be used as a swivellable trailing unit. <IMAGE>
