PURPOSE:To obtain the good effect of an electrophoresis treatment by providing a sump filled with liquid below a sheet-like support, and acting the vapor generated from the liquid on the rear of the support. CONSTITUTION:A sump 15 provided below a sheet-like support 1 is filled with liquid 16 consisting of pure water or a buffer soln. An electrophoresis treatment is started when a cover plate is mounted and a prescribed DC voltage is impressed between electrodes 9 and 10, after a serum sample 2 is dropped and coated on the support 1. While the buffer soln. from sumps 7, 8 is vaporized by Joule heat, the liquid 16 in the sump 15 evaporates spontaneously by receiving the Joule heat. Therefore, the inside of a treating vessel 4 is filled with satd. vapor, and the support 1 receives the water feed effect from both front and rear surfaces by the vapor, and the pH and ionic intensity over the entire area of the film surface is maintained approximately constant at all times. |
