PURPOSE:To prevent glass cylinders from being broken, suppress loss of heat through a gap between adjacent glass cylinders and enable to enhance heat-collecting efficiency, by absorbing thermal expansion of the glass cylinders, when using a plurality of heat- collecting cylinders by connecting them to each other. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of the heat-collecting cylinders 1 are provided each of which is comprised of the glass cylinder 2 having both ends closed airtightly by end caps 3a, 3b and having the interior thereof evacuated and a heat-collecting pipe 4 airtightly penetrated into the interior of the cylinder 2 and constituting a passage for a heat-transmitting medium. The heat-collecting cylinders 1 are placed in series with each other, the heat-collecting pipes 4 thereof are connected to each other by direct connection flanges 14, and end parts of the glass cylinders 2 of the adjacent heat-collecting cylinders 1 are connected to each other by a cylindrical body 9 which can be freely expanded and contracted. The cylindrical body 9 is comprised of an outer cylinder 10 and an inner cylinder 11, the outer cylinder 10 is jointed to the end cap 3b, while the inner cylinder 11 is jointed to the end cap 3a, the outer cylinder 10 and the inner cylinder 11 are fitted to each other through a slidable ring 12 provided on the inner cylinder 11 side so that they can be slidden relatively to each other. |
