<p>PURPOSE:To supervise many sections with one supervisory device even when a supervisory signal is limited to a single frequency, by setting a specific supervisory signal to each of plural sections by a polynomial form. CONSTITUTION:One master station M uses only one carrier wave fs to supervise cyclically slave stations of sections S1, S2, and S3. The master station M divides data MX1 of a region M of an information format by a polynomial GX1 peculiar to the section S1 to calculate a remainder RX1 and stores this remainder RX1 in a region R. The sum of the remainder RX1 and data MX1 is sent to slave stations (a), (b), (c), and (d) of the section S1. The received sum of data MX1 and the remainder RX1 is divided by the polynomial GX1 in each of the slave station of the section S1, and the slave station discriminates that data is correct if the division result is 0 but discriminates that data is erroneous when this result is not 0, and the slave station responds to the master station M with local supervisory information after local detection. The same operation is performed for sections S2 and S3.</p> |
