PRODUCTION OF PHOSPHORUS COPPER ALLOY WIRE FOR BRAZING

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a titled alloy wire with high efficiency by extruding a cast ingot of a phosphorus copper alloy through a die having plural pieces of extrusion holes under specific conditions then drawing the same at a high temp. CONSTITUTION:The cast ingot of a phosphorus copper alloy contg. a large amt. of phosphorus is extruded through a die having plural pieces of extrusion dies to <=5mm.phi diam. at 450-650 deg.C and >=50 extrusion ratio. Thereafter, the wire is drawn at 150-350 high temp. and at the reduction rate of area limited at 10- 30%, whereby the phosphorus copper alloy wire for brazing is produced without disconnection.
