ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER

摘要

PURPOSE:To ensure high directional resolution over a wide range of distance, by using a conical polymer piezoelectric element to an oscillator. CONSTITUTION:A conical oscillator 1 is used to an ultrasonic transducer. This oscillator 1 has a V-shaped section with a conical face. With use of an ultrasonic transducer of such an oscillator, both the convergence and dispersion of ultrasonic beam are slow to ensure a wide range of practical focal distance. This ensues the high directional resolution in a wide range of distance. A polymer piezoelectric element is used in order to obtained an oscillator having a special conical curved surface.
