CONSTITUTION:The carriage 6 provided with a hammer 16a is traveled by the motor 10 at the velocity according to the distance between the position of the type 15b for the character to be printed and a printing position, and the type 15b selected and positioned by a DC motor 12 is hammered against a paper 42 at each position in traveling the carriage 6, thereby printing. In this case, information on the inertia of the fixed type wheel 15 is inputted into a target velocity setting circuit system 1b, a controlling system 1a regulates a driving voltage for the motor 10 on the basis of the information, and a controlling means determines the traveling velocity of the carriage 6 in accordance with the period of time required for the controlling system 1a to select the type 15b. |
