Self propelled combined harvester with axial thresher - uses two independently fed threshing drums in common housing with central outlet

The axial threshing self-propelled combined harvester has a front drive axle together with a rear steering axle, it incorporates a frontal cutting bar casing, and has an elevator conveyor with pneumatic screens. An demountable independent threshing separates is sited forward of the drive axle between the elevator and the bar casing, the latter two pieces of equipment also taking the form of separate units. Threshing and separation gear uses two drums in a common housing and are fed individually via separate passages in the rear wall of the bar casing. The drums (21, 22) may be offset axially and act in opposite directions whilst the housing (20) has but one central outlet by the outlet ends of the drums.
