PURPOSE:To obtain a target concentration of ink in a processor for setting ink supply amount to a picture area rate data in the prescribed function by selecting the prescribed rotating amount of an ink base roller and the optimum function with an input of the prescribed ink concentration. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic card 3 of a picture area rate data 30 at every ink supply zone of each ink key 10, measured by a printing picture area rate meter 1 is read by a card reader 6 of an ink supply amount setting processor 5. The prescribed ink concentration H is inputted, an ink base roller rotating amount 33 and a using conversion function 31 are determined to obtain the concentration H, and a necessary ink key control position 32 is calculated by the function 31 with the data 30 at each key 10. In this manner, a motor 12 of the roller 14 is adjusted by a rotating amount adjusting mechanism 16 to the set value 33, and the ink supply amount is set by driving an ink key motor 11 to become the adjusted position. Accordingly, the ink supply amount which includes the ink concentration can be automatically set, thereby shortening the setting time of the supply amount. |
