发明名称 AUTOMATIC TOOL ORIGIN CORRECTION METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To correct the tip position of a tool automatically prior to the start of the next working cycle by measuring the tip position of a replaced tool so as to calculate a correction quantity and to input the datum into an NC control unit in an NC lathe. CONSTITUTION:A tip position is directly measured automatically by using a tool origin measuring equipment 1. A digital dial gauge, such as a magni-scale, is used as the tool origin measuring equipment 1, and the tip position is measured by bringing the tip measuring piece of the gauge into contact with the tool tip, then the size is extracted as an electrical signal through an indicator 6. The electrical signal from the indicator 6 is fed into a comparator/calculator 7, where the signal is compared with a target value to calculate the correction quantity of the tip position, then the value is fed into an NC control unit 9 through a controller 8, which serves a role to execute a correction system of multiple tools for every several works during a working cycle.
