PURPOSE:To make it possible to effectively control a sequential operation by detecting the stop itself of a travelling body such as a spindle by means of a detecting device. CONSTITUTION:On a traveling body 1, a plural number of members 11a-11d to be detected such as dogs are provided, and further a plural number of sensors 12, 13 for detecting said members 11a-11d and a plural number of timers 24, 25 for alternately clocking associated with the detection operation for the members to be detected, are provided. The members 11a-11d and the sensors 12, 13 are relatively positioned such that they do not simultaneously detect the members to be detected, but constructed so as to judge the travelling body 1 to stop when either of the timers 24, 25 reaches set time. Accordingly, it is possible to control a device such that after the step of a traveling body is detected, the next operation step is advanced, together with the improvement of safety, the protection of a machine, and the increase of the efficiency of a device due to the reduction in cycle time. |
