PURPOSE:To facilitate setting of a function in a processor for setting ink supply amount to a picture area rate data in the prescribed relation by enabling to set a function with the control amount input of a supply amount adjusting mechanism corresponding to a plurality of picture area rates. CONSTITUTION:An ink key control position 32 corresponding to a picture area rate 34 is set with a numeric switch 45 at each color unit by considering the set rotating amount 33 of an ink base roller 14, intrinsic characteristic of a printing machine itself, characteristics of a moistening unit and characteristics of ink itself, and a conversion function 31 is held in an ink supply amount setting processor 5. A picture area rate data 30 in every ink supply zone of an ink key 10 by a printing picture area rate meter 1 is inputted by a magnetic card 3 to the reader 6 of the processor 5 in this state, an ink key motor 11 is driven as each ink key control position 32 by the set function 31, thereby adjusting the gap. The rotating amount of the motor 12 of the roller 14 is adjusted by a rotating amount adjusting mechanism 16 to the set value 33. Accordingly, the setting and altering of the function can be facilitated. |
