PURPOSE:To obtain optimum exposure, by changing the conveying speed for photosensitive paper according to the transparency of an original. CONSTITUTION:The light of a lamp 2 that transmits through an original 1 is received with a photodetector 3, and theoutput value thereof is converted to a digital value by an AD converter 4. The conveying speed of photosensitive paper corresponding to the transmittance of the original is calculated by a setting circuit 5 for copying speed and is displayed on a display 6. The operator moves an adjusting knob for speed manually by viewing the display or the number of revolutions of a motor 7 is adjusted automatically by a control circuit 8 for motor speed, whereby the speed is changed to the value at which optimum exposure is obtainable. When the sensitivity of the photosensitive paper is inputted to an input circuit 10, the circuit 5 operates so as to correct the speed adjustment according to the difference in sensitivity. |
