PURPOSE:To improve the life and reliability of the titled head, wherein a conductor is connected and wired on the upper part of a heating resistor body, by providing a special shape other than a straight line at the end part of the conductor, thereby reducing the concentration of thermal stress at the end part of the conductor. CONSTITUTION:The heating resistor body 1 is provided on a substrate 5, on which a heat insulating layer 4 is provided. The conductor 2 and an abrasion resisting layer 3 are further provided. In this heat sensitive recording head, the shape of the end part of the conductor 2 which is connected to the heating part is made to be, e.g., a V shape, W shape, semicircular shape, or the like, other than the straight line shape. When the shape of the end part of the conductor 2 is formed in this way, the thermal compression stress and shearing stress applied to the end part indicate gentle distribution in comparison with case of the straight line shape. Thus the stress concentration at the end part of the conductor is largely reduced. |
