<p>The tilting trailer has a load platform (1) supported by wheels (2), on an axle (3). It has brakes (4) to lock the wheels and a drawbar (7). The platform pivots on the axle and the drawbar is fixed to it by a pivot (11) rear of, and below, the axle. When the brakes are applied, forward movement of the tractor tilts the platform to a discharge position. Rearwards movement of the tractor raises it again. A stabiliser (14) has an opening (15) in which slides a finger (16) on the drawbar. There are several platform fixings (17,19) to the drawbar.</p> |
