The disc floats on water and is for leisure or sports use. It is made in rigid material and its two faces (4,5) are flat. Its edge (2) is rounded or flanged round its periphery and creates a propulsion and sliding effect. A child or adult throws the disc on to the water and then runs and jumps on to the centre of it (6). It can be used in very shallow water, for example along a beach.
