PURPOSE:To control the extent of combustion by a method wherein a microcomputer is caused to generate a governor driving output and an output having a resolution finer than that of the former. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 generates the signal of pulse width 18 to an output terminal 10 in response to the signals from input terminals 2 and 3 and the signal from an operation amplifier 22 for amplifying a differential signal between a hot water temperature and a set temperature at an input terminal 19. Further, it generates to an output terminal 23 a signal of a pulse width of fine resolution capable of resolving the pulse width of the finest resolution of the pulse width 18 of the output signal from the output terminal into as small as 1/256. These output signals are added by an operation amplifier 26 and the added whole is impressed upon a transistor 15 which in turn transmits it to the governor 16 after its current is amplified. As a consequence, the opening degree of a valve of the governor 16, that is, the extent of combustion is controlled and the temperature of hot water is maintained at a set value accurately. |
