PURPOSE:To enhance initial-stage response characteristics under front-wheel steering, by intermediately providing an element for delaying or attenuating a signal. CONSTITUTION:Orifices 26, 27 are intermediately provided respectively in oil pressure pipes 24, 25 connecting a power cylinder 6 for a front-wheel steering mechanism and hydraulic cylinder devices A, B, C, D for a rear-wheel steering mechanism to each other. In a low frequency range of about 0.4Hz, an attenuating effect of the orifices is not displayed, and the steering quantity of rear wheels coincides with a 50%-curve E. In a frequency range of about 1Hz, the steering quantity of the rear wheels coincides with a 30%-curve D due to the function of the orifices. The steering quantity coincides with a 20%-curve C at a frequency of 1.3Hz, and with a 10%-curve B at a frequency of 2Hz. Accordingly, the response of the vehicle to the front-wheel steering in a high frequency range is enhanced. |
