The present invention relates to a fuel-heated water storage tank with a storage container which is heated by a burner supplied by a valve-controlled fuel duct and is arranged in a housing. The invention consists in that the fuel valve and its control and regulating fittings are arranged in a connecting housing (25) fitted to the outer wall (1) of the housing and receiving in addition a feed connection (24) and a return connection (28) of the heating system, and also a multi-way valve (38) and a bypass connection (37). The advantage of the invention is that all the installation and control fittings can be collected together in a separate external housing, and can in one operation both be connected to the storage tank during its manufacture and later to the heating plant. <IMAGE>
