Fabric-forming apparatus for weaving machines

The fabric-forming apparatus, which is used in shuttleless weaving machines, has a dobby (1) with a hydraulic drive (2), a dye-changing device (3) and a programming device (4) which is connected operatively to the hydraulic drive (2) of the dobby (1) and of the dye-changing device (3). This connection consists of at least two single-acting hydraulic cylinders (7 and 8), each of which has two pistons, and of electromagnetic slides which control the hydraulic cylinders. The control of the dye-changing device (3) is considerably simplified thereby, so that the range of fabrics produced can be extended. <IMAGE>
