PURPOSE:To obtain a PGI2 production promoter having promoting action on PGI2 production of vascular endothelial cell, comprising a dihydropyridine derivative. CONSTITUTION:A PGI2 production promoter comprises a compound of formula I [R1 to R3 are alkyl, cycloalkyl or alkoxyalkyl; R4 and R5 are H, halogen, NO2, halogenated alkyl, alkylsulfonyl, halogenated alkoxy, alkylsulfinyl, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, CN, alkoxycarbonyl or alkylthio with the proviso that R4 and R5 are not simultaneously; H; X is vinylene or azomethylene; A is alkylene; B is NR5R7 or group of formula II (R6 to R8 are H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl or pyridyl; Ar is aryl or pyridyl; (n) is 0-2)] or its acid addition salt such as 2-[p-(4-benzhydrylpiperazino)phenyl]ethyl-methyl-2,6-dimethyl-4-(3- nitrophenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylate as an active ingredient. |
