Beading device on sewing machines, containing: a) a rocker plate for holding the claws, which cooperates with a guide needle and with a pair of alternating feet; b) a rocker plate for holding the beading foot for the purpose of guiding the tape, which beading foot cooperates with said claw, the claw-holding plate, which rocks about a first fixed pin, carrying in a slot a square connected to another square which engages into a slot of the beading-foot plate, itself rocking about a second fixed pin which is located in the vicinity of the beading foot and, in relation to the first pin, in an opposite position, so that the beading foot rocks in the opposite direction to the claw and to an adjustable extent. <IMAGE>
