<p>The waffle sheets or waffle cakes are baked in a baking device with circumferential two-part baking moulds and, in the delivery station of the baking device, removed from in each case one of the baking mould parts and introduced into a rolling mould to form the rolled hollow waffle. In order to prevent a premature separation, in particular of the edge regions, of the waffle sheets or waffle cakes from those baking mould parts, to which they are to remain adhering until removal, there is provided in the delivery station(s) of the baking device in the region of the path of those baking mould parts, from which the waffle sheets or waffle cakes are removed, (in each case) a pressing device assigned to the waffle sheet or waffle cake to be removed. This pressing device can be a stationary guide surface or a rotating roller. <IMAGE></p> |
