Atomiser system for powdery material for spraying, composed of a spray device which contains a spray pipe and is supplied by an injector with material for spraying from a container via a conveyor hose and contains an impact cone or impact plate for atomising the material for spraying, the rear of said plate being constructed as a convex cone over which supplementary gas flows from a centrally arranged annular nozzle so that the gas stream conveying the material for spraying and the supplementary gas stream strike one another at the edge of the impact cone approximately at an angle of 90 DEG . In addition, the supplementary gas stream can consist, apart from of air, entirely or partially of inert gas or quenching gas (halon), its amount can be controllable and the distance between the impact cone and the mouth of the spray element can be adjustable and for the purpose of electrical charging of the material for spraying an electrical field of 30-90 kV can be applied. <IMAGE>
