A threaded socket for embedding in concrete comprising a tubular member (11) open at one end and closed at its opposite end (15) and a load bearing nut (17) encased in said tubular member (11) in proximity to said closed end (15), the central axis of said nut (17) being aligned with axis of the tubular member (11) and means (23, 25) being provided for securing the open end of the tubular member (11) to concrete formwork (21); the means (23, 25) may be replaced by a bolt extending through the formwork and into the nut (17). <IMAGE> |
