发明名称 SOLID ROTOR TYPE INDUCTION MOTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the power factor of the titled induction motor by a method wherein a cutting work is performed on both ends of the solid rotor in such a manner that the both ends will be formed to have the diameter smaller than that of the center part, thereby enabling to reduce the gap leakage flux of the solid rotor. CONSTITUTION:The solid rotor 2, having a slit 3 in the direction of a rotating shaft, is inserted to the circumferencial face of the rotating shaft 1, and a cutting work is performed on the entire circumference of both end parts 4 of the solid rotor 2 corresponding to the end ring part of the squirrel-cage type rotor in such a manner that the slit will almost be removed. As the magnetic gap distance between the solid rotor and the stator is increased by performing a cutting work as above-mentioned, the gap leakage flux is reduced, the power factor of the induction motor is improved and, at the same time, the higher harmonic eddy current loss at both end parts of the rotor is reduced, thereby enabling to increase the working efficiency of the induction motor.
