PURPOSE:To obtain a hard mirror having a dead slender scope which is capable of obtaining a normal and distinct observation image, by providing a deleterious light eliminating part on a part of an optical path of the scope which is used both as an observing optical system and an illuminating optical system. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from an illuminating light source 18 passes through a light guide 17 and is made incident to a relay lens 7 at an incident angle of a prescribed range from the circumferential face of the relay lens 7. The incident light repeats its reflection by the circumferential face of the relay lens, whose outside circumference is covered with an air layer 10, is converged by an objective lens 10, is emitted from cover glass 8 and irradiates an object. The reflected light forms an image through the cover glass 8 and an objective lens 6. Its image forming light is propagated in the relay lens 7, passes through an area of a light absorbing member 11, forms an image on the rear end face of the relay lens 7, and goes into an observer's eye through an eyepiece 15. On the other hand, abnormal light passes through the air layer 10 at a larger angle than that of the image forming light, is made incident to the light absorbing member 11 and is absorbed. Accordingly, by the dead slender scope, a normal and distinct observation image is obtained. |
