PURPOSE:To improve the low-temperature characteristics and the heavy-load electric- discharge characteristics by using, in common a separator, the regenerated cellulose film which is made of cellulose acetate serving as its raw material and is composed of the continuous porous substance in three-dimensional structure and continuous porous- polyamide or polyvinyl-chloride having the three-dimensional structure similarly as described in the above. CONSTITUTION:A separator 4 interposed between a positive electrode 1 and an electrolyte absorbing substance 3 which is made of vinylon-rayon mixed paper and nonwoven fabric etc. and makes contact with a negative electrode 2 is composed of a regenerated cellulose film 40 made of cellulose acetate serving as its raw material and composed of the continuous porous substance having the three-dimensional structure and the continuously porous-structured polyamide or polyvinylchloride in the three- dimensional structure similarly as described in the above and piled on the positive electrode side of this film 40. Therefore, the internal resistance is reduced, because of the ion transmissivity of each of above mentioned films particularly of the superior ion transmissivity of the regenerated cellulose film, and the interface resistance between the both films is reduced because said films have the similar porous structure, and the low-temperature characteristics and the heavy-load electric-discharge characteristics of the cell can be improved markedly. |
