PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption at the time of non-operation without delaying an access time at the time of operation, by forming a load by a transistor, in a ratio type decoder, and varying the gate voltage of the load transistor in accordance with operation time and non-operation time of the decoder. CONSTITUTION:A gate control signal being an input of a current mirror circuit 6 is ''0'' at the time of operation of decoding, a current is I2 only, and at the time of non-operation of decoding, the gate control signal is ''1'', and the current becomes I1+I2. As a result, gate voltage of a transistor 2 being a load of a ratio type NOR decoder is controlled, and at the time of operation of decoding, a load current is increased, and at the time of non-operation of decoding, the load current is suppressed, by which power consumption at the time of non- operation is reduced. |
