PURPOSE:To restart play at an interruption point when the play is cut in the middle, by adding a measurement point and a storage part for the angle of arm rotation. CONSTITUTION:The angle measurement part 5 is put in operation in parallel to the starting operation of play to count the angle theta of rotation of an arm 12. Then, a control part 4 store the memory 6 with the angle theta when a stop switch 2 is turned on as theta'. Once a stylus is lifted up and the arm 12 is returned to its initial position, the angle theta is initialized and the rotation of a turntable is stopped. Then when a restart switch 3 is turned on, the control part 4 starts the rotation of the arm 12 simultaneously with the rotation of the turntable. At this time, the arm 12 is led through the angle measurement part 5 until the theta' stored in the memory 6 coincides with the counted theta and the stylus is lowered at the position. When the stop switch 2 is turned on thereafter, the contents of the memory 6 are rewritten into the angle. |
