PURPOSE:To improve the cell perfromance by adhering surfactant uniformly on a porous blowing metal then filling with paste of active substance thereby uniforming the filling amount of paste active substance. CONSTITUTION:85wt% of nickel hydroxide, 10wt% of carbonyl nickel powder and 5wt% of cobalt powder are mixed then water is added to provide 25wt% of moisture content to produce a filling paste. A blowing porous nickel having the porosity of 94%, weight of 58mg/cm<2> and the thickness of 1.2mm. is employed as a porous blowing metal. Stearic acid sodium is adhered uniformly through immersion or injection as a negative ion surfactant onto said porous blowing nickel to produce a substrate. Then said filling paste is filled in said substrate to produce a nickel electrode. The surfactant can be selected from a group consisted of positive ion, non-ion and amphoteric surfactant. In such a manner, the filling amount of the paste active substance is uniformed to improve the cell performance. |
