For easier opening of a package from a box made of foldable material, such as cardboard, in which an inner lining and a bag enclosing the packaged product are arranged, the inner lining (2) has an intended tearing line marking out a window (5), while the corresponding wall (14) of the box has a flap (3) at that point, which can likewise be marked out by an intended tearing line (6). The area of the window (5) in the inner lining (2) is connected to the inside of the flap (3). When the flap (3) is torn open, the window region is therefore torn out of the inner lining (2) along the intended tearing line of the inner lining (2) and the inner lining (2) is opened. The edge region surrounding the intended tearing line of the inner lining (2) can be provided with a wick compound, such as an adhesive wax, as a result of which a sealing re-closure of the package is possible, such that the packaged product is protected in the re-closed inner lining (2). Furthermore, the intended tearing line for the inner lining (2) can have a different course from that of the flap (3), for example it can lie outside the edge formed by the flap (3) or cross it many times. The thus projecting edge acts in the manner of a snap spring which, when the flap (3) is closed, engages below the wall of the box and prevents unintentional opening-out of the flap (3). The inner lining can be bonded or sealed on in the window region. The intended tearing lines are formed by partially punched portions or perforations. <IMAGE>
