PURPOSE:To provide the titled material with high sensitivity imparting an image with high resolving power and excellent in film strength, oil resistance and chemical resistance, constituted by successively providing a heat sensitive layer based on heat coagulable protein and a light-heat conversible substance and a photosensitive layer based on a photo-crosslinkable photosensitive substance. CONSTITUTION:For example, heat coagulable protein (e.g., alubmin, soy protein or wheat gluten) and a light-heat conversible substance (e.g., carbon black) and, if necessary, a binder (e.g, gelatin) are mixed in a solvent such as water to be uniformly dispersed under stirring and the resulting dispersion is applied to a support, pref., in a thickness of 1-10mum (after drying) and dried at 30-50 deg.C to provide a heat sensitive layer. In the next step, a liquid prepared by dissolving and dispersing a mixture of a photo-crosslinkable photosensitive substance (e.g., P-quinone diazide) and, according to necessity, a binder in a solvent is applied onto the formed heat sensitive layer, pref., in a thickness (after drying) of 0.2-15mum and, after drying at 30-50 deg.C, a photosensitive layer is provided to obtain the objective recording material. |
