In beverage cans having a preembossed tear-open closure, a closure free of detachable parts prevents the possibility of environmental pollution as a result of the disposal of the torn-open closures. Also, drinking hygiene is improved by the closure free of detachable parts, since the drinking orifice (8) obtained can be reclosed at any time by the closure (2) connected firmly to the ring-pull device, and thus the access of flies and pests to the can orifice is prevented. <IMAGE>
