PURPOSE:To prevent the fluidization of a coupling material and to suppress the reduction in reproducing efficiency, by providing a notched groove in adjacency to a coil winding hole and a filling groove provided at a joint, in bonding core halves forming a center core. CONSTITUTION:Plural grooves 15 for packing the coupling material 13 and the coil winding hole 14 are provided on a butt surface 11a of a core half 11 of the center core 10 and plural number of vacant grooes 16 are provided in adjacency to the grooves 15. In melting the coupling material 13 in a hole wall 14a of the winding hole 14 and the grooves 15, the fluidization of molten metal to a space S of a back gap side and the spread of diffusion layer Q in the inside of the core from the fluidizing source are prevented or regulated by vacant grooves 16. Thus, the increase in magnetic resistance is prevented and the reproducing efficiency of the magnetic head is increased. |
