PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-color picture having black-intensified color tone by applying a heat transfer printing to a photo-transmissive sheet by using black ink for a photo-impervious ink layer and a color ink other than the black of a photo-transmissive ink layer. CONSTITUTION:A transparent sheet 1 is wound around a drum 3. When the transparent sheet advances to the position of the heating resistor element row of a thermal head 7, the heating resistor element of the head 7 is selectively energized by a drive circuit 10 on a signal corresponding to black picture from a color signal source 15, and black ink is transferred from a black ink film 4. When a given writing position comes to the position of the heating resistor element of the head 8 as the drum 3 rotates, the heating resistor element is electrically energized by the drive circuit 11 on a signal corresponding to red picture delayed by a given period of time by a delay circuit 13, and a red sublimable dye is transferred to the sheet from a red color ink film 5. In the same way, a yellow sublimable dye is transferred to he sheet from a yellow ink film 6 by means of the head 9. Thus, OHP base papers in which main black letters are marked with red or yellow color can be obtained. |
