PURPOSE:To enable to heat for supplying hot water with a favorable rise-up property, by a method wherein a heater using a heat pump and an auxiliary heat source are used for heating at starting operation, in a device for heating water in a hot water storing tank provided with an auxiliary heat source by using a heater comprising a heat pump. CONSTITUTION:When starting the operation, each of power source switches 25, 28 provided respectively for a hot water storing tank part A and a heat-pump hot water supply device part B is closed, an electric current is passed to a heater 27 for auxiliary heating, and magnetic switches 36, 37 are closed to operate a compressor 17, a motor 24 for a blower 23 and a circulating pump 3. As a result, a refrigerating cycle is formed in which a refrigerant is circulated through the compressor 17, a water heat exchanger 18 for supplying hot water, a decompressor 19 and an air heat exchanger 20, and water in a circulating circuit including the hot water storing tank 1 is heated through the heat exchanger 18. This operation is continued until a hot water temperature detecting thermostat 30 detects a condition wherein the hot water temperature has reached a boiling heat-up temperature. Accordingly, a desired amount of hot water of a desired temperature can be speedily stored in the tank 1. |
