发明名称 MULTIPLY COATED MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance the impact and wear resistances of a sintered hard WC alloy, TiC-base cermet or TiN-base cermet, by multiply coating the surface of the material with a prescribed number or more of TiN and TiCN layers each having a prescribed thickness. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a sintered hard WC alloy, TiC-base cermet or TiN-base cermet is coated alternately and multiply with >=8, preferably >=20 layers of TiN and TiCN each having <=1mum, preferably <=0.5mum thickness so as to adjust the total thickness to 2-15mum. Thus, strain among the coating material layers is uniformly dispersed, so the concentration of stress is avoided to enhance the impact resistance. The crater and flank wear resistances are remarkably enhanced by making use of the characteristics of the carbide or nitride.
