PURPOSE:To set the inherent molding conditions of the metal mold in a control device of an injection molding machine automatically, by providing marks inherent to the metal mold, detecting the marks by the device on the injection molding machine, and identifying the metal mold. CONSTITUTION:To the identifying part of a metal mold 21, a fixing side attaching plate 24, wherein four screw holes 1, 2, 4 and 8 are laterally provided at the outer upper part, is fixed. Pins 26, which are screwed into the screw holes, serve as the marks indicating the inherence of the metal mold 21. The identification is performed when the fixing plate 24 is attached to a fixing board 27 on the side of the injection machine. A detecting device 29 is provided at a part corresponding to said identifying part. When said fixing side attaching plate 24 is fixed to the fixing board 27, the pins 26 in the screw holes 4 and 8 are inserted into members 14 and 18 (as illustrated) and this fact is instantly detected. Thus the identification is performed. The detection is transduced into an electric signal. The signal is transmitted from the control part to an external memory part, i.e. the molding conditions are transmitted. Errors found in conventional manual identification can be completely avoided. |
