PURPOSE:To perform the squeegee of printing ink readily and perfectly, in the inking device of an offset printing press, by contacting a doctor blade with specified parts of a doctor roller. CONSTITUTION:A doctor roll 4 is contacted with a form roller 3, which is constituted by an elastic body whose surface is rubberlike and has a large diameter. The roll 4 is rotated in the reverse direction with respect to the roll 3 by the contact part, and the extra ink is taken out of the form roller 3. Meanwhile, the ink 1 on the doctor roll 4 is taken out by a doctor member 5. In this device, a doctor blade 6 is held by a holder 7 of the doctor member 5. The doctor blade 6 is formed in an approximately U shaped cross sectional figure by Teflon or the like. Ridge line parts 13 and 14 of the end parts of the blade 6 are contacted with the doctor roll 4, and the ink 1 attached to the roll 4 is removed. |
