PURPOSE:To contrive the conservation of fuel, by a method wherein a load of an engine at the time of nonsupercharging is reduced by making air or fuel-air mixture to be discharged from a supercharger at the time of the nonsupercharging return to a suction side of the supercharger. CONSTITUTION:In a partial load area where supercharging is not carried out, a throttle valve 15 is in a closed state, a part between a throttle valve 15 of a supercharger system duct 3 and a check valve 17 becomes high negative pressure through pumping action of a piston 4 and checking action of a back current of the check valve 17. Negative pressure is transmitted to a negative pressure leading chamber 23c of a diaphragm mechanism 23 through a negative pressure leading duct 33 and a control valve 22 is turned into an open state. Air, therefore, to be discharged from a supercharger 11 is returned to a suction opening 11b of the supercharger 11 through a connecting duct 21. |
