PURPOSE:To carry out the adjustment of a ground clearance rapidly by controlling a feeding/discharging means for feeding and discharging oil to and from the actuator of a ground clearance adjusting means in accordance with the deviation in ground clearance when the absolute values of the vehicle speed and steering angle are above defined values, and controlling said feeding/ discharging means in accordance with deviation in loads, after adjusting. CONSTITUTION:The feeding and discharging of oil to and from the cylinder chamber of an actuator consisting of a cylinder device which is provided for each wheel is controlled by a flow rate control valve V1 and a closing valve V2, which are controlled by an ECU 102. The deviation between actual ground clearance from ground clearance sensors 87-90 and a reference ground clearance and the deviation between actual load from load (pressure) sensors 91-94 and a reference load are operated and, when the absolute values of an actual vehicle speed from a vehicle speed sensor 95 and actual steering angle from a steering angle sensor 96 are above a defined value, the valves V1, V2 are controlled by a first duty to remove the ground clearance deviation. After the control of the ground clearance adjustment is completed, the valves V1, V2 are controlled by a second duty in accordance with the load deviation. |
