PURPOSE:To process the registering operation of bargains in an ordinary registering operation, by discriminating whether inputted goods information corresponds to bargains or not and performing the registering processing of goods information on a basis of discount if it corresponds to bargains. CONSTITUTION:When a transaction registration occurs, quantity information of the transaction is inputted to a CPU23 through a key encoder 25 by an input means 24, and a department key of a function key group 21 is depressed to indicate the department, to which the transaction belong, to the CPU23 through a key discriminating means 22. The CPU23 discriminates unit price information of the indicated department in a memory 27 by an address counter 26 and discriminates whether department information corresponds to bargains or not; and if it corresponds to bargains, the CPU23 reads out transaction time information form a clock means 35 to discriminate the time zone and reads out the discount in a pertinent time on a basis of the discrimination result. After reading these unit price information and discount, the CPU23 obtains the total amount of money of the transaction in the department and stores it in the memory 27 and prints it together with mark V on a receipt with a printing means 29. |
