The punched sheet-metal supports used for wall and ceiling panel construction, consists of longitudinal bent-over strips. The strips have punched-out sections which, in pairs, form a tongued configuration. This permits slotted assembly. At one side of the bent-over longitudinal section is another punched-out part defining a double lip configuration the lips are rigid, and fitted in adjacent pairs. The bent-over lip sections may engage a thickened part, formed on the panel strip paired part. The slotted arrangement ensures that during erection and removal of the panels, no adjacent panel support parts will be disturbed or dislodged.
|
