PURPOSE:To offer a cathode-ray tube having an inner conductive film with extremely small emission drop by making the resistance value of a part near the neck of the inner conductive film stretched and formed so as to conductively communicate with an anode terminal provided on a fannel to be lower as compared with the other part. CONSTITUTION:A part 33 near a neck 23 of an inner conductive film 27, namely, the part with which electrons from an electron gun 28 directly collide, is a low resistance layer 34, wherein a black-mix of carbon and metal powder such as Ni is applied on the neck, and said part is heated by a burner 42 during the process of exhausting, while a valve is heated in a furnace 41 in an exhaustion process of a cathode-ray tube. The low resistance layer 34 is able to be made not more than 1OMEGAcm, lower than 3- 10KOMEGAcm, which is the resistance value of the inner conductive film 27 of the other part. Moreover, while being specially heated by the burner 42, even when being thrusted by electrons from the electron gun after the cathode-ray tube is finished, no poor emission due to gas emission occurs and even when a getter support 31 is placed closely, no special change of voltage to be impressed on the electron gun 28 is generated, further, because of an existest inner conductive film 27, no increase of discharge current is generated in a spot knocking process of the like thus making it possible to perform electrode cleaning as before. |
