<p>The marine vessel is semi rigid and can fold for carrying in a case. The front and rear panels are both in one piece, and the base is in two symmetrical parts. All are made of plastics and balsa, which is strong and lightweight. The four parts are connected by pivots. A tough sheet forms the two sides and it is plasticised and leak proof. A tubular, light alloy, frame holds the boat rigid longitudinally. A pivoted two part seat gives transverse rigidity.</p> |
